Meet Emily Lycopolus, an olive oil sommelier and cookbook author joining us from British Columbia, Canada.
Emily will prepare an elaborate course of tapas to begin this one-of-a-kind dinner showcasing dishes from her book Spain: Recipes for Olive Oil and Vinegar Lovers.
This event is truly a foodie's dream. Throughout the evening, Emily will share about the cuisine of Spain, the role of extra virgin olive oil and other regional ingredients, and how we can incorporate Spanish influences into our own kitchens.
Each course will feature a carefully chosen wine presented by Rebekah Johnson of Sacred Somm, a wine sommelier known for creating soulful connections and curated experiences.
Menu includes:
Tapas course with a wide selection of small bites to try, including Roasted Mushrooms, Meatballs, Empanadillas, and more
Salad
Chicken and Chorizo Paella (vegetarian entree available if requested ahead)
Spanish dessert with a COOC spin
